Album Notes
This recording was originally titled Family Album because so many of the songs have significance to my childhood and my family. (I'm very fortunate to come from a long line of music lovers on both sides). However, as the recording process progressed, it was clear that the sound of the record was becoming very impressionistic. I felt Daydream would be a more fitting title for the sound of the music I was presenting. Yet this CD would not have come into existence if it wasn't for the support and encouragement of my family. A big thank you to my Aunt Sue who introduced me to the piano and to the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, to my father who introduced my to Rhythm and Blues and to my mother who truly taught me "at the end of the storm is a golden sky".
